I think being a nurse, like being a parent, is perhaps one of the most thankless jobs out there.

After all, nurses and administrative team members at our hospitals are on standby 24 hours of EVERYDAY to help us get better, heal our wounds and fix us when we are broke!

Well, I certainly didn’t appreciate that fact when I was younger, but after having the privilege to work with a handful of nurses in San Diego, (and after going to the emergency room when I cracked my head into a concussion last year) I sure am thankful for the nurses who do what they do. Nurses are some really great people…

With Nurse’s Month here, it got me thinking how lucky we are to have nurses ready to help us when we really need it :-).

But, let me get to the point.
